Course Description
The teenage years are a critical time in everyone's life — it is when young adults begin to form their own unique identity that defines who they are. Teens today face so much more pressure during their developmental stages than ever before. Issues like low self-esteem, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse need to be addressed, not ignored.
Many adolescents are victims of accidents, suicide, homicide, substance abuse, and many other problems. Even if a teenager is not a victim of a specific incident, they could be the casualty of an unhealthy relationship, a dysfunctional family, an eating disorder, or one of many other obstacles facing teens in our culture.
This course equips you with the biblical tools and practical understanding to counsel individuals and families — with a specific focus on children and youth — bringing healing through the Word of God.
